James Cook Racks Up Two Scores

Despite rushing for only 20 yards, Bills RB James Cook scored twice in a win over Kansas City. He added 5 catches (on 6 targets) for 7 yards.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Cook was never a great bet for efficiency against the Chiefs. They entered the week having allowed only 3.2 yards per carry – easily the lowest mark league-wide.

Cook converted his most valuable opportunities, though. He scored on a first-and-goal-score run from the three and later ran through the heart of the K.C. defense for a six-yard score.

As usual, Ty Johnson picked up the slack in 3rd down and 2-minute drill situations. He ran only one fewer route than Cook but garnered just a single target.

Ray Davis tallied only five carries, with four of them coming in the second half. He didn't draw a target on five routes run.

Ultimately, Cook remains a strong RB2 for the stretch run. Week 12 turns up a bye week, followed by a fine home matchup with San Francisco.
