Panthers LB Josey Jewell is questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles. He went from a limited Wednesday to sitting out Thursday's practice but then returning for a limited Friday. We'll need to watch Jewell's status ahead of the game. Carolina originally listed Edge Jadeveon Clowney (knee) as questionable as well but downgraded him to out Saturday.
An active Jewell would still carry plenty of upside, especially against a run-heavy Eagles offense. But there'll be risk with a hammy that forced him out of Thursday's practice.
If Jewell can't go, rookie Trevin Wallace would get a boost to full-time status and climb the Week 14 rankings.
Edge D.J. Wonnum is also questionable with a knee injury. He followed two limited practices will full participation Friday, though.
That makes Wonnum seem likely to be ready. But I'll certainly check ahead of Sunday's game.
I have knocked Jewell down to LB3 range of the rankings because of the hamstring risk. I'll watch for status updates ahead of the game.
