49ers RB Isaac Guerendo plans to play tonight despite his sprained foot. There was doubt over him playing after being injured and sitting out part of the game last week. If Guerendo does not have a full workload due to the injury, RB Patrick Taylor will get a bigger share of touches.
Adam Schefter of ESPN: "With the fantasy football playoffs starting tonight:
49ers rookie RB Isaac Guerendo plans to play Thursday night vs. the Rams despite his sprained foot that has left him being listed as questionable, per sources. Guerendo insists he “feels good.”
The Rams are a neutral match-up tonight for Guerendo and the 49ers RBs as a whole.
The offense got their mojo back last week and if the 49ers passing game is up to par to keep up with the Rams, there shoudl be scoring opportunities for Guerendo and perhaps even Taylor as well.
Next week is an even better match-up against the Dolphins, so if Guerendo can get right with extra rest, he could go off in the second round of the fantasy playoffs.
The 49ers do play the Lions in Week 17 though, one of the best run defenses in the leagues.
