Chiefs RBs Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt had a true 50/50 backfield split with both having 13 carries and one catch in the game. Pacheco totaled 47 yards, while Hunt had 49 yards. Neither had a TD as Xavier Worthy had the only rushing TD for the Chiefs in the game.
The usage was a change as Pacheco had been climbing in his backfield share. Hunt was more efficient on the ground with 3.5 yards per carry while Pacheco only had 2.5.
If Patrick Mahomes is out for any amount of time with his ankle injury, the Chiefs may need to lean more on the run game.
