Rams Announce Jimmy Garoppolo as Week 18 Starter

Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters Wednesday that he'll start QB Jimmy Garoppolo and rest Matthew Stafford for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. That's the move we've been expecting, and we already had Garoppolo projected as the starter in the Week 18 QB rankings. But it's nice for the team to make it official ahead of the weekend.

Bet on WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua sitting as well. We'll see how the rest of the WR corps sorts out.

Given that the Rams fell short of 200 passing yards each of the past three weeks even with the usuals in there, it's tough to bet on meaningful passing production from the backups this week.
