Cardinals TE Trey McBride has been signed to a contract extension making him the highest paid TE in the NFL. He inked a four-year, $76 million deal with $43 million guaranteed. McBride caught 111 passes on 147 targets last season for 1,146 yards and two TDs. Entering his fourth year, McBride's elite TE ability is a key part of the Cardinals offense.

McBride currently sits as the TE2 in our redraft rankings, just behind Brock Bowers (and possibly a better value than Bowers). Keeping him in the same offense that led to 147 targets with QB Kyler Murray should only continue to help McBride's fantasy value.
Positive TD regression should be incoming for McBride, so his best fantasy days may be ahead.
Murray himself benefits from McBride as a safety valve. With Murray hitting a crossroads in his NFL career, relying on McBride could be key to him taking another step as a starting QB.
