The Bengals and RB Zack Moss have agreed to restructure the final year of his deal, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. Moss missed the final nine games of last season with a neck injury, but Cincinnati is "clearly confident in his return," according to Garafolo.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Moss split backfield work with RB Chase Brown early last season. But he was being phased out before the neck injury, averaging just 5.7 carries and 2.7 targets over his final three games.
Cincinnati only added RB Samaje Perine in free agency, so there's theoretically opportunity for Moss to win the No. 2 role in 2025. But the Bengals are a strong candidate to select a RB in the draft. They can't be relying too heavily on Moss, who's 27 and coming off a seemingly significant neck injury.
We'll see what this backfield looks like when we get to training camp, but Moss is not worth a pick in early best ball drafts.
