Bears HC Ben Johnson said he's been "extremely impressed" with WR Rome Odunze's offseason. "To be a second-year guy, you would expect a little bit more inconsistency. And, yet, the way he approaches the meeting room, the walkthroughs, the on-field, the drill work, it’s very much like a seasoned pro," Johnson said. "Some of the best that I’ve been around. ... He’s still learning. I think we’re gonna see a lot of growth from him — not just in the springtime, but once we get to camp.”

Odunze is coming off an underwhelming rookie season, faces increased target competition with the arrival of rookies Colston Loveland and Luther Burden, and is now playing for a HC who wasn't around when he was drafted last year. So it's nice to hear the positive words from Johnson about Odunze's work and progress.
The pecking order in Chicago's passing game remains up in the air, but it's certainly possible that Odunze leads the team in targets this season.
Unfortunately, Odunze's ADP hasn't moved much this offseason. He's still going late Round 4 as the 25th WR off the board. That's more than 10 spots higher than he sits in our half-PPR WR Rankings.
