Browns WR Cedric Tillman is “still viewed internally as an ascending player,” per The Athletic’s Zac Jackson. Tillman turned just 25 in April.
What They're Saying
Here’s more from Jackson (via The Athletic):
"Tillman should be in line for a full-time role this year, and he could complement Jeudy in an offense that could incorporate a lot of deep passes if Flacco is the starting quarterback...
The Browns did not draft a wide receiver this year. Diontae Johnson was added in late April, but his one-year contract includes no guaranteed money. The team is banking on Tillman being able to build on his big stretch in the middle of last season.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Tillman ended last season on IR after suffering his second documented concussion.
He entered a full-time role in Week 7, leading to three straight games as a top-13 PPR WR. He finished WR45 in Week 11 before suffering the concussion in Week 12.
His target shares in that sample:
Each game was played alongside Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku, so Tillman didn't have the benefit of weaker target competition.
Our current PPR WR rankings have him projected to finish right alongside new Brown Diontae Johnson. There’s room for Tillman to rise this summer, though, especially if Johnson struggles to make an impact in training camp.
