Saints beat writer Ross Jackson calls Saints RB Kendre Miller a "great fit" for new HC Kellen Moore’s offense.
What They're Saying
Here’s Jackson’s complete writeup on the third-year RB:
“No player gets the health tag more than Miller on the Saints’ roster. After an injury-riddled beginning to his career, maintaining availability will be paramount to his progress moving forward. Beyond that, Miller’s ability to fight through contact and familiarity with the inside zone run game make him a great fit for head coach Kellen Moore.
"Miller could be one of the biggest benefactors to the upcoming changes to the Saints’ offensive scheme.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Miller carries some fantasy appeal as a later-round flier. A lot of that is simply tied to his size and athleticism, as injuries have limited production through two NFL seasons. Miller has totaled only 80 carries across 14 games.
Alvin Kamara returns as the clear lead back in 2025. The 30-year-old has hit 220 carries in three of the past four seasons and 57 catches in all but one NFL season.
Now, could Miller beat out guys like Clyde Edwards-Helaire and rookie Devin Neal for the backup job? Sure. Still, a suspect Saints offense limits Miller's handcuff appeal.
Ultimately, he's just a late-round bench stash in leagues of 14+ teams.
