Jaguars WR Travis Hunter “continues to shine” in training camp, per beat writer John Shipley.
What They're Saying
Here’s more from Shipley on Tuesday (via SI):
“…After dominating at cornerback on Sunday, Hunter has spent the last two days at wide receiver and arguably had his best practice yet on the offensive side of the ball on Tuesday, hauling in several impressive grabs and proving to be a tough cover for the team's best defensive backs…
In one-on-one drills, Hunter currently looks like the toughest receiver to cover. His quickness and explosiveness has made him a headache for the defenders matched up with him, which on Tuesday included Jourdan Lewis in an impressive rep.”
Shipley added that QB Trevor Lawrence "looks like he is trending in a positive direction" following Tuesday's practice.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
This type of report shouldn't be surprising. Hunter's a top-end athlete, and one-one drills are his chance to shine.
His ultimate snap share -- on offense and defense -- remains unknown. It's quite possible the team alters his role as the season unfolds. That type of uncertainty makes Hunter a risky (albeit upside) pick at his current WR30 ADP. He's not a main target for us in redraft leagues.
