Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson missed Monday's practice with an injury he suffered in Saturday's practice. According to beat writer Judd Zulgad, HC Kevin O'Connell called it a "hip, leg, back -- whatever you want to classify it at."
That reads like a flippant explanation from a coach who's not particularly worried, but it's tough to read a tweet about a quote and know the intent for sure.
We'll see how long Hockenson remains sidelined and watch for further detail on what's actually wrong.
You might find any injury more triggering with Hockenson given the knee injury that ended his 2023 and limited him throughout 2024. But he played all 17 games the two seasons before that injury. So don't overreact to this situation if you're drafting this week.
