Chargers WR Ladd McConkey remained sidelined for Thursday's practice, according to ESPN's Kris Rhim. McConkey hasn't practiced since July 28. We don't have any details on the injury, although OC Greg Roman said last weekend that it's "extremely minor."

If McConkey was dealing with a serious injury, we'd know by now. Still, the missed time is a concern for a guy with a lengthy injury history.
McConkey missed one game last year with a knee injury and also dealt with toe, hip, and shoulder ailments. In college, he played through toe and knee injuries in 2022. Then he missed four games in 2023 with a back injury and another game with an ankle injury.
We'll see when McConkey is able to get back on the field from this latest issue. His target competition got a bit tougher after the Chargers signed WR Keenan Allen earlier this week.
