Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell carried nine times for 68 yards and a score in Thursday night's preseason game vs. the Colts. He had back-to-back runs of 23 and 22 yards in the first quarter, with the latter going for a TD. Mitchell also returned three kickoffs for 64 yards.
What They're Saying
Mitchell after the game: "I feel good just coming back from strength and conditioning, OTAs, camp. Feel a lot better, a lot more confident. So just being more confident in myself and trusting my knee — that it’s stronger, and it can do what I need it to do.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Mitchell averaged a massive 8.4 yards per carry on 47 attempts as a rookie in 2023. But that season ended in mid-December with a torn ACL that also hampered him last season.
Mitchell looked back to 100% on Thursday night, though -- ready to add even more big-play ability to this Ravens offense.
RBs Derrick Henry and Justice Hill did not play vs. the Colts and remain atop the depth chart for now. But Mitchell is a safe bet to claim the No. 3 job. That's not enough to make him a standalone fantasy option. But if Henry misses time this season, we'd expect Mitchell to have a significant role alongside Hill.
