Seahawks second-year LB Tyrice Knight missed most of the past week of practice with a knee injury, but it sounds like that's the lesser of his two health hurdles at the moment. Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports that HC Mike Macdonald said Saturday Knight is "getting close" to returning from the knee issue. But the coach also said an undisclosed medical issue is expected to keep Knight out for multiple weeks.
What They're Saying
Macdonald: “We’re not going to give you all the details on it, but we’re working through it, and we expect him to be back for the (season) opener. It’s going to be a couple weeks.”

MLB Ernest Jones IV also missed practice Saturday to attend his father's funeral. That left the team running Patrick O'Connell and Drake Thomas as the LB starters. Josh Ross is reportedly competing with them as well but is out with a hand injury.
Jones figures to return this week. And assuming Knight does get back ahead of the season, he should maintain his starting role next to Jones.
Knight's low profile but likely full-time role give him sleeper upside at the end of your IDP drafts. So we'll be watching the young guy's return.
For now, at least, I'm not moving Knight down our LB rankings. Be aware of his situation if you're drafting early, though.
