Chargers WR Quentin Johnston took a big hit in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams. He appeared to be unconscious at least briefly. A stretcher was brought out for Johnston, but he was eventually able to walk off the field and get carted to the locker room.
Update: Johnston suffered a concussion and was taken to a hospital as a precaution, HC Jim Harbaugh said after the game.

Johnston escaped a truly significant injury, but he's likely at least dealing with a concussion. We'll update his status when we know more.
Johnston currently holds a top-three spot on the Chargers' WR depth chart, so his absence would open up opportunity for Keenan Allen and rookies Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith.
