Eagles’ WR A.J. Brown, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury, appears on track to play Week 1 against the Cowboys, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
What They're Saying
Garafolo: “Eagles WR A.J. Brown is working his way back into action well ahead of Week 1. Barring an unforeseen setback, he’s on track to face the Cowboys in 16 days.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
A hamstring injury has kept Brown sidelined for much of training camp. As HC Nick Sirianni put it, the All-Pro WR has been “working through some things.” There hasn’t been any real concern regarding Brown’s Week 1 availability, and Garafolo echoes the sentiment.
The Eagles are likely just being smart with their star wideout, making sure he doesn’t suffer a setback. And considering he missed three games with a hamstring strain just last season, you can understand Philadelphia’s caution.
Even in a shortened 2024 campaign, Brown still eclipsed 1,000 yards and scored seven touchdowns. He finished as the WR12 in fantasy points per game (16.7), but if the Eagles see a significant boost in pass rate this season, Brown could easily finish as a top-seven fantasy WR.
