Add a league for Mock Drafting, Draft War Room & In-season sync
The Browns are releasing WR Diontae Johnson, according to NFL Network. It'd been trending this way for most of August for Johnson, who was not good in training camp.
Johnson just turned 29 and was still dominating targets as recently as early last season. But he's collapsed since then and was unable to make a Browns team in desperate need of WR help.
Johnson is obviously off the redraft radar and is not a must-hold in dynasty.
Jamari Thrash is expected to open the season as Cleveland's No. 3, slot receiver. But expect to see a lot of 2-TE sets with David Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. for the Browns.
Thrash isn't worth a roster spot in redraft.
