Chargers’ RB Najee Harris will be at practice on Wednesday and there is a chance he plays Week 1 against the Chiefs, according to Kris Rhim of ESPN.
What They're Saying
Rhim: “Jim Harbaugh said RB Najee Harris will be back at practice today. Said Harris playing Week 1 is a “possibility.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Harris was removed from the non-football injury list on Tuesday, a promising sign that he’s nearing a return. Coach Harbaugh says it’s possible Harris plays Week 1, and while that is far from a guarantee, it does signify that the veteran RB is improving.
If Harris does suit up against Kansas City, he’ll likely slot in as Los Angeles’ RB2 behind rookie Omarion Hampton, given his limited participation throughout the summer. We’re still projecting Harris to miss the season opener, but a Week 2 debut appears increasingly likely.
