Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers told reporters on Wednesday that he's prepared to play for the team, despite his recent requests for a new contract and then a trade. "I asked, they said no. That's where that stopped," Meyers said. "I'll keep doing my job until something shakes out either way."
What They're Saying
More from Meyers: "I'm just gonna keep doing my job until something shakes out either way. I don't know which way it's gonna go, but I'll be ready for whatever. ... I'm ready to go if you want me to go, I'm ready to play if you want me to play."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Meyers is clearly still unhappy with his situation in Las Vegas, which adds some risk to his fantasy profile. But, for now, it sounds like he's ready to play his usual role.
That role found him 23rd among WRs in both target share (23.4%) and PPR points per game last year. We're not projecting him to finish quite that high in 2025 in what figures to be a more run-leaning offense under new HC Pete Carroll and OC Chip Kelly. But Meyers could certainly be a steady WR3 for fantasy squads.
