The Saints have ruled Edge Chase Young out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals because of a calf injury. HC Kellen Moore called it a "week-to-week" situation, according to ESPN's Katherine Terrell.
Young, when asked if there's long-term concern: "Hell no. ... I feel good, very good. I feel good, that's all I'm going to say."
Very convincing and not at all defensive-sounding, Mr. Young.
We'll obviously have to watch his situation, but missing practice Thursday and Friday after leaving Wednesday's early doesn't bode well for Young's Week 2 chances.
