Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill caught 4 of 6 targets for 40 yards in Sunday's blowout loss to the Colts. He was checked for a concussion at one point but ultimately returned.
What They're Saying
Hill didn’t mince words after the loss.
“This was a big kick in the balls for us,” Hill said via beat writer Marcel Louis-Jacques.
Here's HC Mike McDaniel on Tua Tagovailoa's performance:
“It was something left to be desired … there’s throws he makes 9 times out of 10 and he didn’t make them today.”
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
This one was truly ugly. The Fins benched Tua in the 4th quarter following an awful passing line:
- 114 passing yards
- 1 TD
- 2 INTs
- 3 turnovers
Tua overthrew Hill on a deep in-breaker early in the game, a play that could have gone for 25+ yards in Indy’s territory. Instead, the ball sailed into the hands of a Colts defender and set the stage for a highly disappointing day from Miami’s offense.
Overall, Hill posted a low 61% route rate. But note that he was up over 80% entering the 4th quarter. Miami rested starters for the majority of the 4th
It's worth noting that Miami ran a crazy-low 46 offensive plays. That number will rebound, but it's certainly concerning to see Miami play so poorly against a Colts defense that's not exactly star-studded.
Hill will be a risky WR2/3 for Sunday's matchup with New England.
