Per The Athletic's Dan Duggan, HC Brian Daboll said that QB Russell Wilson will start New York's Week 2 game in Dallas.
Wilson was abysmal on Sunday, completing just 17 of his 37 attempts (45.9%) for 168 scoreless yards. The Giants scored just 6 points and were 4-for-16 on 3rd downs. Before the game, the Giants were supposed to have some plays drawn up for QB Jaxson Dart, but the rookie did not play.
New York heads to Dallas in Week 2, to face a Cowboys' defense that did a very good job shutting down Philadelphia's passing attack in Week 1.
Wilson is surely on notice and it would not be a surprise at all to see Dart enter the game if the Giants don't have an immediate turn around.
As long as Wilson remains under center, it is hard to trust any members of New York's offense. Even WR Malik Nabers gets downgraded.
