49ers K Jake Moody was cut after missing a short field goal and having another blocked in Week 1. The team had brought in Greg Joseph in camp to battle Moody, but cut him before the season. They currently have no Kicker on the roster.
Moody already sat on the hot seat coming into the season, but an atrocious Week 1 sealed his fate. He was a third-round pick in 2023 after a hitting 82.9% of FGs in his final year at Michigan. Moody will likely find his way into a camp next year, but it will be tough for him to find another job this year.
Whoever does take the job could be a sneaky fantasy add if the 49ers offense gets back up to full strength soon.
