Eagles TE Dallas Goedert has a knee sprain that has his status "up in the air" for Sunday's game vs. the Chiefs, according to beat writer Eliot Shorr-Parks. "Team will see how he progresses this week. It is not believed to be long-term injury that will keep him sidelined for long — if at all," Shorr-Parks adds.
It doesn't sound like Goedert will be sidelined for long with this injury, but fantasy owners should start lining up another option for Week 2.
Goedert's absence would leave TE duties to Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson. Neither would be a recommended spot starter.
Philadelphia's offense would be even more concentrated on RB Saquon Barkley and WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith sans Goedert.
