Packers Edge Micah Parsons and CB Nate Hobbs are active for tonight's game against the Commanders. It's no surprise for Parsons, who played through the same questionable tag in Week 1. Hobbs will make his Packers debut after signing in free agency and then undergoing summer knee surgery.

Hobbs shouldn't be in IDP lineups for this first game off a summer knee operation, though there's upside once we know he's back to a full-time role.
Hobbs' return will be interesting to watch for the other corner spots as well. He played near-exclusively in the slot with the Raiders, but the Packers said after signing him that they believed he could also play outside.
Green Bay dumped outside CB Jaire Alexander (now with the Ravens) after that signing. The Packers started Carrington Valentine on the outside in Week 1 and Javon Bullard in the slot.
Valentine outplayed Bullard, who has largely disappointed at safety and slot corner since arriving as a second-round pick last year.
I'm guessing they'd rather run Hobbs primarily in the slot and take time from Bullard instead of Valentine, but we'll have to see how playing time sorts out in this contest.
Either way, Hobbs' return strengthens the secondary of a defense that already looked terrific in Week 1.
