Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill rebounded from a down Week 1 to post 6 catches for 109 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots. Hill’s 7 targets ranked second on the team behind De’Von Achane’s 10.
What They're Saying
Hill shared some positive takeaways from the loss (via FinsXtra on X):
"Tua looked real good back there throwing the [ball] today, not only to myself but to Waddle and also Achane... it was a good feeling… Felt like old times."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Hill's lone incompletion from Tua Tagovailoa was an ugly one. Hill sat down in a zone that afforded plenty of space. Tua, though, sailed the ball way over Hill’s head. The veteran WR was visibly animated (frustrated) after the misfire.
On the positive side, Hill hauled in a 47-yard deep ball from Tua. And overall, he looked explosive against a New England secondary that remained without top CB Christian Gonzalez.
Overall, Tagovailoa showed much improved efficiency, despite missing two starters along the O-line (G James Daniels and T Austin Jackson). He completed 81.2% of his passes at a huge 9.8 yards per attempt.
Hill will remain a risk/reward fantasy start for a Thursday night matchup at Buffalo. Hill posted lines of 3-24 and 4-80 against the Bills in 2025.
