Titans QB Cam Ward delivered only 219 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT in Sunday's loss to the Colts. He threw a pick-six on the Titans’ opening drive.
What They're Saying
Here’s Ward following the loss (via TennesseeTitans.com):
"We put ourselves in a hole, starting off 0-3, something that we got to climb ourselves out of," he said. "But it's all learning stuff, especially from my standpoint, the offense standpoint as a whole, and then on the defensive side of the ball."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
The Titans put forward another shaky showing on offense. They averaged only 4.3 yards per play, going only 5-of-14 on third downs. Ward took four sacks, with two surfacing on back to back plays.
His lone TD went to fellow rookie Elic Ayomanor, who also scored in Week 2. This time, he scored on a tight-window throw right at the goal line.
On the day, Ayomanor finished second on the team in receiving with 38 yards. Chig Okonkwo led the way with 66, while Calvin Ridley underperformed yet again with only 27 yards. He secured just 1 of 7 targets.
Shaky play from Ward – combined with a thin supporting cast – will continue to supply a low floor here. The rookie will be off the fantasy radar for a Week 4 matchup at Houston.
