Colts RB Jonathan Taylor erupted for 118 total yards and 3 scores in a Week 3 win over Tennessee. His 17 carries actually marked his lowest total since Week 12 of last season.
What They're Saying
Here's Colts LB Zaire Franklin on what he's seen in Taylor's early-season performance.
"I don't think really it's a question at this point," Franklin said, via Indy's official site. "I think he's the best back in the league. Just his combination of power, speed, change of direction, he's been making plays in the backfield...And honestly, I think the biggest improvement that he's made has been in his pass protection. I noticed it at training camp...He's a complete back right now. There's nobody else playing like him."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
JT wasn’t needed to finish this one, as Indy won by 21. He took advantage of a Titans defense that played without hulking DT T'Vondre Sweat due to an ankle injury.
Still, you have to come away impressed by this performance. Taylor busted off one of the highlight runs of this season, a 46-yard TD that showcased his combination of strength and elusiveness. He added short-range scores from one and two yards out.
At this rate, Taylor will remain a matchup-proof RB1. Next up is a Rams defense that just limited Saquon Barkley to only 46 yards on 18 attempts (2.6 yards per carry).
