The Commanders' RB situation was muddled even more against the Raiders. Jacory Croskey-Merritt’s 23 snaps just edged out Chris Rodriguez’s 22. Jeremy McNichols had 15 himself, which included a long TD run. It may be tough to start a Commanders’ RB going forward.

The Commanders blew out the Raiders entering the fourth quarter in a 34-10 game, so the blowout and lack of QB Jayden Daniels may have affected the snap and carry share.
Croskey-Merritt had eight rushing attempts to Rodriguez’s 11. McNichols only had four, but that included his 61-yard TD.
Croskey-Merritt did score a TD himself, but only had 26 yards. He also had the lone target of the group, which he caught for five yards.
The preseason hype for Croskey-Merritt still doesn’t seem like it will come ot fruition anytime soon unless he shows a clear talent divide versus the other backs.
This should be a situation to keep on the bench if you can moving forward.
The Falcons' next week is a neutral match-up, which likely won’t help with clarity of the situation.
