Giants WR Malik Nabers caught only 2 of 7 targets for 13 yards in Sunday’s Week 3 loss to Kansas City. Russell Wilson took a major step back, while the Giants managed only one TD in the 13-point loss.

Disgusting.
That’s the best way to describe the Giants’ passing game against the Chiefs. Wilson threw for only 160 yards on 32 attempts. And he went without a passing TD for the second time in three games.
The Chiefs certainly shaded coverage to Nabers’ side. But the Giants didn’t do enough to create space for their go-to WR. On one particular target, Nabers took a shot to the shoulder on an underthrown deep ball. Fortunately, he dodged an injury.
After the loss, HC Brian Daboll said he needs to do a “better job” of getting the ball to Nabers. No doubt about that.
That wasn’t an issue over the first two weeks, when Nabers combined for 25 targets. He went off for 9 catches, 167 yards, and 2 TDs just last week at Dallas.
We’ll see how much longer Russell Wilson lasts as the starting QB. But for now, it looks like the QB situation will add some extra volatility to Nabers’ fantasy outlook. He’ll look to rebound Sunday against a strong Chargers defense.
