Giants QB Jaxson Dart delivered a useful fantasy line in his Week 4 starting debut. He completed 13 of 20 passes for 111 yards and 1 score, adding 54 yards and a TD on the ground.
What They're Saying
Here's OC Brian Daboll after the win (via ESPN):
"It wasn't perfect, didn't expect it to be in this first game. But a tough opponent, 3-0 team with a pretty good defense," Daboll said. "Thought he made good decisions, that we ran the ball well, thought we controlled the game for the most part. Had some turnovers on defense, but I think the young man played well, within himself. Made a huge play when he needed to, to [tight end] Theo [Johnson], in that third-down play. Happy we got him."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Sunday was always going to pose a tough challenge for the rookie, given the talent on the Chargers’ defense. But the task proved tougher after WR Malik Nabers suffered an ACL tear in the first half. That left Dart’s primary targets as Darius Slayton (3 catches), Theo Johnson (3 catches), and Wan’Dale Robinson (3 catches). Johnson caught Dart's only passing score -- a shovel pass near the goal line.
Dart’s legs really stole the show. He rushed the ball a whopping ten times, with three attempts on the first drive alone. The last one ended in a 15-yard score on a QB draw.
Overall, Dart showed the willingness (and toughness) to produce several broken tackles. Rushing production figures to remain key going forward, especially with Nabers sidelined until 2026. Consider the rookie a QB2 option for Sunday's matchup with New Orleans.
Dynasty Impact
Now up to QB17, Dart has climbed our dynasty QB rankings early in the season.
