Dolphins TE Darren Waller delivered 3 catches, 27 yards, and 2 TDs in Monday's win over the Jets. Week 4 marked Waller’s 2025 debut.
What They're Saying
Here's Waller via NFL.com:
"It's a lot to process," he said after the win. "It's exciting, very exciting, just to be out there, just the whole day. Little bit of fear, little bit of everything, you know? Because I haven't really been practicing a ton, haven't really done a lot with the team, so it's like, alright, I've got to find a way to get back out there and get into a rhythm and just be somebody that this team can rely on and give this team a return on their investment."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Waller saw only four targets – a 16% team share. He also played only 16 of 58 snaps, which included ten routes run.
Of course, he made the most of them. Waller scored on a toe-tapping jump ball at the back of the end zone, despite tight coverage from Sauce Gardner. Later, Waller scored on a play-action rollout where the Jets defense was slow to pick him up on a crosser.
Look for Waller’s snaps and routes to rise going forward, particularly after Tyreek Hill’s season-ending injury. The veteran will be a streaming option for a Week 5 tilt at Carolina.
