Brock Bowers Expected To Play Week 5

Raiders HC Pete Carroll expects TE Brock Bowers (knee) to play vs. the Colts on Sunday. Bowers did not practice on Thursday or Friday, but Carroll said the team just wanted to get that knee some rest. "We just want to make sure and slow it down a little bit and give him some extra rest. That's really what we try to do," Carroll said. Bowers, though, admitted that the knee is still impacting his game. "It's painful, sore, just annoying [and] frustrating because I want to be back to full strength and going full speed, being able to separate from guys," he said. "I feel like I can't really do that to the best of my abilities right now." Bowers is not the fantasy force he was drafted to be right now. But even with injury docks on his projections, he still checks in fourth in the Week 5 TE rankings.
