Buccaneers RB Rachaad White was the bellcow for the Buccaneers, playing 80.3% of snaps with Bucky Irving sidelined with an injury. He handled 75% of the backfield touches (with Sean Tucker handling the other 25%). White’s rushing line ended up at 14-41-2 while he caught all four of his targets for another 30 yards.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
White wasn’t an efficient rusher, averaging only 2.9 yards per carry throughout the game, but he found the end zone twice in a competitive high-scoring game against the Seahawks.
Despite the lack of rushing yards, the overall usage makes White a must start going forward while Irving is sidelined. The Buccaneers offense scored 38 total points in the game and remain one of the best offenses at putting points on the board. That means scoring opportunities for the RB.
If White continues handling that workload, he should see have enough scoring opportunities to be worthwhile. Against a weaker defense, higher YPC should come as well.
White’s receiving ability has always been his strength, so he adds that element in PPR. He ran 25 routes, third on the team behind Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin.
He should be a fantasy starter going forward when Irving is inactive.
Other Winners & Losers
Sean Tucker finished with just three carries and three targets. But with RB Bucky Irving expected to miss Week 6 and potentially longer, Tucker could be worth stashing in deeper leagues in case of a White injury.
