Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy caught 6 of 8 targets for 42 yards in Monday's upset loss to the Jaguars. He entered the night questionable with a shoulder/ankle injury and briefly left this game in the third quarter.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Despite the scare, Worthy posted a team-high 80% route rate. He led K.C. with a 23% target share, too, even generating an end zone target that arrived just out of the back of the end zone.
Overall, Worthy saw heavy usage on short-range targets. Two of his targets came on either pop passes or screens.
His long gain (19 yards) came on a scramble-drill play from Patrick Mahomes, while he had another deep target (and potential TD) arrive overthrown.
Worthy will play one more game before the Week 7 return of Rashee Rice. Next up for the Chiefs: a Detroit squad that'll be without starting CB Terrion Arnold for at least a few weeks. CB D.J.Reed is also expected to miss the game with a hamstring injury.
We'll keep an eye on his health, but Worthy's yardage upside certainly looks nice entering Week 6.
Other Winners
Tyquan Thornton led the team with 90 yards on only 3 catches.
Travis Kelce scored for the first time since Week 1 while posting a season-high 7 catches and 8 targets.
The passing game was propped up by a solid day from Patrick Mahomes, who attempted a season-high 41 passes.
