Eagles DT Jalen Carter is inactive for tonight's game against the Giants. He popped up on the Wednesday injury report with a heel issue and entered Thursday questionable. Carter came out for warm-ups with his cleats on and had been expected to workout to determine if he would play, but that decision wound up being made with no workout.
The way things played out before the game points to Carter likely not missing further time, though we'll obviously see about Week 7 next week.
Carter's absence tonight is good news for the Giants offense. He, of course, got ejected at the start of the Week 1 game in which Philly allowed two rushing scores to Javonte Williams and nearly lost to the Cowboys.
