The Bears should have LB T.J. Edwards and slot CB Kyler Gordon in the lineup for Monday night's game against the Commanders. Both guys carry no game designation on the week's final injury report.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Edwards has barely played so far this year, thanks to nagging hamstring trouble. He missed Week 1 with the injury, then tried to return for Week 2. But Edwards made it just halfway through that contest before aggravating the issue.
That cost him weeks 3 and 4, but that span plus the Week 5 bye allowed him to return to full practices all this week.
We've had Edwards projected to start in our Week 6 LB rankings.
His return will knock LB Noah Sewell back to a minimal role.
Gordon will be making his season debut after missing the first four games with a hamstring injury. The fact that Chicago never placed him on IR shows the extent was a surprised even to his team.
Gordon managed just one full practice this week and remains a risky play, especially as a lower-level IDP option to begin with.
Bears DB Jaquan Brisker also didn't land on the week's final injury report after missing Thursday's practice with a quad issue. He returned for full practices Friday and Saturday.
Chicago will miss DT Grady Jarrett (knee) for the second straight game.
