ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Cardinals RB Zonovan "Bam" Knight will play a "more prominent role" ahead of Michael Carter today against the Colts.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Last week found Carter dominating Arizona's backfield work, taking 18 of the 25 RB carries and five of the six targets. He proved inefficient with yardage, though, averaging 2.8 yards per rush and 4.4 per catch against a weak Tennessee defense.
Knight logged just four carries and 1 catch in the game. He has also averaged a mere 3.5 yards per rush for his career, dating back to 2022 with the Jets.
We're not betting on significantly better production from Knight, and this should remain a three-man backfield for Week 6 -- especially with Arizona missing QB Kyler Murray (and starting Jacoby Brissett in his place).
But Knight looks like he should be the first one into fantasy lineups. We'll see whether he assumes primary receiving duties. Knight has just 15 career catches but logged 48 receptions across three college seasons.
