Justin Fields completed only 9 of his 17 attempts and was held to 45 passing yards in a dismal showing versus the Broncos in London. The Jets were held to 82 total yards of offense and converted only 2-of-15 third-down attempts. Fields had as many sacks (9) as he did completions, resulting in New York totalling -10 passing yards on the day.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Fields was under siege in this one.
WR Garrett Wilson only managed to catch 3 of his 8 targets and produced only 13 yards.
Fields ran 7 times for 31 yards but had no success standing in the pocket against a game Denver defense. New York managed 1.4 yards per play and failed to log one snap in Denver's red zone.
Fields has been much better as a fantasy asset than for the Jets. However, most of his production in the last two games has come in garbage time.
It feels like only a matter of time before HC Aaron Glenn turns back to veteran Tyrod Taylor to put some life back into an offense that ranked 29th in passing before Week 6. The Jets scored a season-high 27 points with Taylor under center in Week 3.
View Fields as a risky QB2 who will be on a short leash against the Panthers and Bengals before their Week 9 bye.
