Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. continued his rebound from a sluggish start in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He snagged 8 catches for 90 yards and a TD among a team-high 10 targets. Thomas doubled his nearest teammate in receptions and more than tripled any other Jaguar in yardage. And he could have fared even better. Thomas dropped a mid-range pass over the middle and had a 54-yard TD near the end of the third quarter nullified by WR Travis Hunter lining up offside.

This is why we highlighted Thomas in the Week 6 Trade Targets article. Sunday marked easily his best game so far this season, but the turnaround started the previous two weeks.
Thomas caught just seven of 25 targets (28%) while averaging 4.6 yards per target across the season's first three games.
He has now caught 17 of 23 over the past three games at 9.5 yards per target.
Thomas accounted for these market shares against the Seahawks:
- 23.8% of targets
- 29.6% of receptions
- 34.9% of yards
- 50% of TDs
Hunter was the only other Jaguar to garner more than five looks in the game. Only Hunter and RB Travis Etienne exceeded 2 receptions.
Week 7 holds a fine matchup with the Rams, before Jacksonville's Week 8 bye.
It's also worth noting, though, that Jacksonville gets the league's third-worst WR-scoring schedule from Week 9 on. The only truly worrisome matchups in that span, however, look like:
- Week 10 at Houston
- and Week 16 at Denver.
