The Broncos have opened the 21-day practice window for LB Dre Greenlaw, who spent the past four weeks on IR for a nagging quad injury. That gives the team three weeks to either activate Greenlaw or put him on season-ending IR.
What They're Saying
Broncos blog Predominantly Orange on Greenlaw traveling to Philly and then London for the past two games: "Greenlaw was present for the entire road trip. One would think, if Greenlaw was still in the rehabilitation process, he would be doing that work back at the team facility in Denver. ... It seems reasonable to believe the Broncos have been having Greenlaw do work after the media's viewing portion of practice."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Greenlaw first suffered the injury back in spring. It delayed his start to training camp. He returned then but has yet to play in the regular season.
Greenlaw managed a limited practice Wednesday, but it's too early to tell what his chances are of playing Sunday against the Giants. And even if he's active, it'll be tough to know how large a role he'll play right away.
When Greenlaw is ready to return in full, he'll shove LB Justin Strnad out of the lineup. Will it affect LB Alex Singleton's playing time? We'll see.
