After a slow start to his rookie season, No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter had his breakout game in London. Hunter was about the only thing that went well for the Jaguars in their annual trip to London.
QB Trevor Lawrence did throw for 296 yards and the TD to Hunter, but Lawrence was under siege. He was sacked 7 times and the Jaguars was just 3-for-15 on third downs.
Jacksonville committed 13 penalties, costing them 119 yards.
The Jagaurs fell behind 21-0 in the second quarter, which helped limited RB Travis Etienne to just 8 carries and 44 rushing yards.
Hunter was in on 67 of Jacksonville's 77 snaps, while No. 1 WR Brian Thomas was limited to 3 catches for 31 yards on 51 snaps. Thomas was battling a shoulder injury was was in and out of the lineup.
Thomas and the Jaguars will have a week off to give Thomas time to get right before a Week 9 trip to Las Vegas.
Week 8's performance by Hunter was his first outing of the season with double-digit PPR points. He also doubled his targets from last week, which is an encouraging sign about his value moving forward.
Hunter will be on the WR3/4 line in Week 9 against a weak Raiders' defense.
