Vikings WR Jordan Addison led the team in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. His 9-128 receiving line included the following market shares:
This marked Addison's second game of 114+ yards among three weeks since his return from suspension and his third straight with at least 4 receptions.
What They're Saying
QB Carson Wentz on Addison: "I have a lot of trust that he's going to be where he needs to be, and he kept coming up big."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
It's important to remember that all three of Addison's appearances this season have come with Wentz starting at QB. They've also found Minnesota averaging 40.7 pass attempts, including 46 and 42 in Addison's two 100-yard outings.
Wentz's play against the Eagles -- including a pair of bad INTs -- seems likely to motivate a switch back to J.J. McCarthy next week, assuming the latter's ankle is ready. (He served as the emergency third QB for Sunday's game.)
Minnesota attempted just 20 and 21 passes in McCarthy's two starts to open this season. Games against the Chargers, Lions, and Ravens the next three weeks -- especially with two of those on the road -- could motivate more passing volume.
We'll see how Addison produces with McCarthy, but it has at least been an encouraging return coming off his three-game suspension.
Justin Jefferson supplied a just-OK 5-79 receiving line on 10 targets. That's disappointing but doesn't change anything about his fantasy outlook.
