Browns RB Quinshon Judkins piled up three TDs and 84 yards in Sunday’s blowout win over Miami. Judkins is one of only two RBs to record three rushing TDs in a game this season. (Jonathan Taylor is the other.)
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Judkins’ highlight came on a 46-yard score through the teeth of Miami’s defense. The rookie waited for his blocks to materialize before darting through the hole and outrunning the defense.
His other scores came from 3 and 2 yards out, both of which came in a “Wildcat” formation.
Judkins’ advanced metrics weren’t as impressive. Per Next Gen Stats, he finished 28th among 33 qualifiers in rush EPA and 25th in success rate. Miami predictably stacked the box on a day that brought rain and heavy wind.
Still, the takeaway here remains positive. Judkins handled 86% of the carries, despite the blowout win. He didn’t draw a target but tied Jerome Ford for the backfield-high in route rate (39%).
Fantasy managers have come to expect little receiving work from Judkins. He's gone without a catch in back to back games and has been held under two catches in all but two games.
Next up is a well-performing Patriots defense, albeit one that shouldn’t prevent you from starting Judkins as an RB1/2. Cleveland's bye week arrives in Week 9.
