Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb returned from a high-ankle sprain to drop 5 catches, 110 yards, and 1 score on Washington. He wasn’t limited in his return, posting a 100% route rate.
What They're Saying
Here's Dak Prescott on Sunday's outing (via Dallas Morning News):
“It’s great, it’s explosive, it was fun. You saw the big plays. You saw some drives put together, our standard and expectations for ourselves is very high. We understand we got guys, and the playmakers that we have, the offensive line, the love that we have for one another, you see it, just the way guys finish plays. Guys cover the ball, and [the] defense played very well tonight. When you do that, more of our games will look like this.”

Lamb posted the bulk of his yardage on a 74-yard play-action deep ball in the first quarter. Prescott targeted Lamb over the middle, and he made the catch in front of two colliding Washington DBs. He easily jogged the final 30 yards to the end zone.
Overall, Lamb led the team with a 26.6% target share. Meanwhile, Prescott – who completed 21 of 30 passess – continued his hot start. He's now thrown for 3+ passing TDs in four straight.
Dak’s strong outing trickled down to George Pickens, who continued to thrive in contested catch situations. The former Steeler racked up 4 grabs for 82 yards while ranking third on the team in targets (6).
Both WRs remain weekly must-starts going forward, although the matchup stiffens this week at Denver. Dallas doesn't go on a bye until Week 10.
