The Panthers signed WR Hunter Renfrow. The 29-year-old was out of the league last year, seemingly by his own accord. He spent the previous five seasons with the Raiders, totaling 269 catches for 2,884 yards and 17 TDs. He caught 103 balls back in 2021 but combined for just 61 across 2022 and 2023.
It's tough to expect much from Renfrow in 2025 considering his age and the fact that he was out of football all last season. He at least finds decent opportunity in Carolina, where the WR depth chart is topped by rookie Tetairoa McMillan, vet Adam Thielen, and sophomores Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.
A primary slot receiver, Renfrow figures to be battling for snaps with Thielen and Coker. There's room for one of those guys to be a fantasy factor this season — but we wouldn't bet on it being Renfrow.
