Buccaneers RB Sean Tucker dominated for fantasy managers with a 19-106-2 stat line. He also went 2-34-1 through the air, catching both of his targets. He outrushed fellow RB Rachaad White, who went 10-51-0 despite White playing 43 snaps to Tucker’s 31.

White also ran more routes than Tucker, 22 to 9. White was targeted 3 times to Tucker’s 2, but still only went 2-11-0 through the air.
Tucker’s snaps were up in this game. Last week, Tucker played only 22 snaps last compared to 50 by White.
The Buccaneers seemed to lean on giving Tucker the ball when he was in the game, leading to 63.6% of backfield touches in the game.
Don’t feel bad if you left Tucker on the bench, it was difficult to see this run coming, especially with his lack of snaps compared to White since Bucky Irving went down with an injury.
Despite the success, it likely won’t last long term. In Week 6 last year, Tucker had 17 touches for 192 yards and 2 TDs. He would only have 205 total yards and a TD over the course of the rest of the season.
With Bucky Irving slated to be back next week (though we’ve heard that one before), Tucker will revert back to the third RB with a smattering of snaps and touches along the way if White and Irving stay healthy.
He should still be stashed on the bench in case the Buccaneers’ coaches were so impressed by Tucker that they need to get him more touches. We will monitor what the coaches say this week and going forward.
The Buccaneer’s RB schedule ranks 22nd the rest of the way with a negative match-up next week against the Rams. The difficult schedule also makes Tucker nothing more than a bench stash looking forward.
