ESPN's Tim McManus reports that there's "not much optimism" that Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) will play vs. the Rams this weekend. Smith has missed the first 2 practices of this week. He was on the injury report with a hamstring last week but played every single offensive snap vs. the Bears. We'll look for more details on Smith's timeline for return, but he should be on benches for Week 4.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Philadelphia will be down Smith and TE Dallas Goedert this weekend. That leaves WRs Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon as the offense's top 2 targets. Both guys have already been close to full-time players this season but should see target boosts this weekend.
Smith's absence is a big loss for QB Jalen Hurts, though. Expect the Eagles to go run-heavy against the Rams. Hurts can be part of that run attack, but he's no better than a low-end QB1 this week.
