Edgerrin Cooper Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Packers LB Quay Walker faces an important fourth season this fall. It's the final year of his rookie contract, and the team declined the fifth-year option on the former first-round pick. Green Bay has reportedly expressed interest still in bringing him back beyond this season. But Walker also landed this week on the physically unable to perform list to open camp, with no specific injury reported. That could prove to be no big deal. A player isn't required to spend any specific time on the camp PUP list, so Walker can be activated at any point. But any delay could be problematic, as he has plenty to prove in 2025.

The Packers have ruled LB Quay Walker (ankle) out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bears. It'll be the third straight game he's missed with the injury, locking in Eric Wilson and Edgerrin Cooper as the lead LBs in playing time for the game. Both have moved up our Week 18 rankings, with Cooper a particularly high-upside option. Green Bay has also ruled out CB Jaire Alexander (knee), S Evan Williams (quad), and S Zayne Anderson (concussion). Those absences should boost playing times for DB Javon Bullard, CB Carrington Valentine, and CB Eric Stokes. The Packers defense doesn't take a meaningful fantasy hit from these absences.

The Packers have ruled LB Quay Walker out for Monday night's game against the Saints because of the ankle he sprained last week.

The Packers left LB Edgerrin Cooper off the week's final injury report, indicating he's ready to return from his three-game hamstring injury.
